Mammoth Spring, MO. – Melissa French, a student that passed away earlier this year has been memorialized by the school system and her fellow students.
On October 4th, the Mammoth Spring School District took a picture of a a blue bench inscribed with the phrase “In Memory of Melissa French”. This bench was decided on through a vote made by the senior class of 2024.

Melissa French would have been a senior this year, but passed away in a vehicular collision earlier this year.
The bench has been placed in front of the school’s multi-purpose building, in clear sight to create a lasting tribute.
