Monday, at around 12:14 P.M, a white male was struck by a train near State Route ZZ and County Road 8240 in West Plains. The Howell County Sheriff’s Office tells Ozark Radio News that investigators are actively working to notify the man’s next of kin after having successfully identified the man.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office had previously sought information to determine the victim’s identity prior to having identified him.
