Houston, MO. – A man who plead guilty in August for the fatal stabbing of another man in Texas County has been officially sentenced by a judge.
The suspect in this case, Adam Reams, was originally taken into custody in this 2021 case, after a man identified as Billy Hayes Jr. was found dead outside their home in Houston, MO. The victim had multiple stab wounds, and Reams was found to have a large laceration on his hand consistent with a knife wound, and Reams’ own knife was found at the scene.
On Tuesday, November 21st, Reams was officially sentenced to 25 years in prison for the fatal stabbing.
