Ingrid was born on November 14th, 1944, to Therese (Greiner) Gorsky and Nikolaus Gorsky in Augsburg, Germany.
Ingrid graduated 8th grade and continued with her three-year apprenticeship in bookkeeping, which was the custom in German schools. She went on to an additional three years with Consume Genossenschaft in Augsburg. After arriving in Eminence, Ingrid worked for Angelica Uniform Company for five years and Frys for one year before starting her career with Eminence Security Bank, where she retired after 28 years of service.
