A 19-year-old woman from Mansfield suffered moderate injuries following a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol .
The crash occurred on Highway 5, about one mile north of Mansfield in Wright County. The driver was traveling northbound when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway. After attempting to correct the vehicle’s path, she overcorrected, causing the vehicle to veer off the left side of the highway and crash into a fence.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported the driver to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
