The Mountain Grove School District is gearing up for the 4th annual Mountain Grove Marching Festival, set for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Panther Stadium. Eight bands from across Missouri will perform their halftime shows in a combined competitive and educational setting, with judges evaluating music, visual performance, percussion, guard, and overall effect. Soloists and drum majors will also compete for individual awards.
The festival will conclude with a performance by the award‑winning Panther Pride Band, showcasing their 2026 production, Black Widow.
Spectator parking will be available in the student lot on the north side of the stadium. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6–17 and seniors 65+, and free for children 5 and under. Concessions and additional items will be sold inside the stadium, with all proceeds supporting the band program. Food trucks will also be set up near the old gym for those who want to support the band without attending the performances.
Gates open at 10:30 a.m., with bands performing from 11:40 a.m. through the awards ceremony at 3:15 p.m. For more information contact director Daniel Van Aalsburg for details.
