Yellville, AR. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking a suspect in a shooting that occurred on October 15th.
The suspect is identified as Leigh Goldsworth Blackmon, a 31-year-old white male with brown hair, and blue eyes. He is 5’11 and weighs roughly 204lbs.

This shooting event took place at a residence on Hampton Lane in Yellville. The victim is currently recovering in Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. No motive has been confirmed as of yet.
Law enforcement have stated Blackmon may be travelling via motorcycle or a Nissan Rogue. It is believed Blackman is armed. If an individual has information on Blackman, they are asked to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 870-449-4236.
