Press Release from the West Plains Police Department:
On August 22, 2026, at approximately 6:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash at 1008 Worley in West Plains, Howell County, Missouri. This address is commonly known as Ruby Tuesdays.
Upon arrival, officers observed a Dodge Dakota had struck the front enterance to the business, shattering the front doors and partially caving in the surrounding walls.
It was learned that the truck was traveling northbound on US Highway 63 near Peacher Roe before leaving the northbound lanes driving over the median into the southbound lanes, down the hill, and into the front of the business.
It was learned that the driver suffered from a medical emergency while operating the vehicle. The driver suffered minor injuries.
