Fulton County, AR. – A minor was killed in a car crash after her pick-up collided with an 18-wheeler.
According to the Arkansas State Police, a female minor was traveling on U.S. Highway 63 on the morning of Friday, September 13, 2024, at 7 a.m. She reportedly lost control while attempting to negotiate a curve, causing the passenger side of her pickup to collide with the front of an oncoming 18-wheeler. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.
The report did not give the identity of the teen but did state that she was pronounced dead on the scene. The road was wet, and rain was falling at the time of the accident.
Due to the crash, the Highland School District posted that they canceled several athletic events on Friday and Saturday and they also canceled the ACT testing scheduled for Saturday morning.
