Missouri FEMA Application Deadlines Arrive Next Week

Missouri – Missourians who dealt with the damaging storms and flooding that happened back in May of this year may find that their time is running out to sign up for FEMA financial assistance for disaster recovery.

The deadline is scheduled for this coming Monday, September 23rd. In addition to this quickly arriving deadline, the DRC’s, or Disaster Recovery Centers for Doniphan and Sikeston are set to permanently close this Friday at 6pm, giving residents there a limited time to speak with FEMA officials about signing up.

The Doniphan DRC is located at the Ripley County Caring Community Partnership building, found at 209 Highway Street.

This Disaster Recovery Assistance is available to eligible homeowners, renters, or self-employed business owners who experienced losses, and the assistance is tax-free and does not need to be repaid.

To apply, visit the available DRC’s, go online to disasterassistance.gov, call 800-621-3362, or download and use the FEMA application.
