Motorcycle vs Deer Crash Injures Thayer Man

Thomasville, MO. – A man from Thayer was injured on State Route 99 in Thomasville just before 6am yesterday.

Chester Langley, 35 of Thayer, was riding a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle Northbound, when he struck a deer that was attempting to cross the roadway.

Langley was moderately injured in the crash, and in the aftermath was transported by the Oregon County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment. It is unknown whether or not Langley was wearing a safety device.

This accident was investigated by Corporal J.D. Wheeler of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
