Springfield, MO. – A driver from Mountain Grove has been injured and is recovering in Springfield after an accident.
This two-vehicle accident took place on January 1st, 5 miles east of Springfield on US 60. Trooper J. Chronister was the investigating officer from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.

At roughly 3 p.m., a Subaru vehicle, being driven by Chadwick Fletcher, a 37-year-old Springfield resident, struck the rear of a Dodge Ram, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.
Fletcher is not listed as having been injured in the accident. The driver of the Dodge, 51-year-old Wayne Stewart of Mountain Grove, MO., suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
