A Mountain Home, Arkansas man was injured Saturday night in a crash south of Mountain View. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at about 8:25 p.m. on Highway 17, nine miles south of town.
Troopers say the northbound 2005 Ford Freestyle struck a deer, then traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree. The 47‑year‑old driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View.
