Mountain Home, AR. – One resident from Mountain Home has been fatally injured in a crash that occurred on Sunday, May 28th.
This report comes from the Arkansas State Police, Troop I. The time of the crash is listed as 11:51am, and the location was at the intersection of College and 1st Street in Mountain Home. The investigator of the crash was Sergeant Rodney Wiggins of the Mountain Home PD.
The driver of a Ford Fusion attempted to turn left onto 1st Street, which put them into the path of a Harley Davidson FLH. The rider of the Harley was identified as Mary Vavruska, 64 of Mountain Home. Vavruska suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased later at Baxter Regional Medical.
The driver of the Fusion was unidentified in the crash, and not injured.
