Mountain Home, AR. – A woman from Mountain Home, AR, has been arrested following hostile actions taken on August 17th, where she fought a neighbor and resisted arrest.
Officers responded to the call of a fight to find two women shouting at one another in the parking lot of Meadow Springs Apartments. Chanell Wilson, 33 of Mountain Home, admitted to assaulting the other woman, and when asked to turn around for arrest, shouted that she wasn’t going to jail and fled.
Officers followed Wilson to her apartment, where she had locked the door. Police obtained a key from local staff, and upon opening the door, got involved in an altercation with Wilson where she allegedly swung and broke a coffee pot on one of the officers.
Wilson is charged on a felony count of 2nd degree Battery On a Police Officer, and multiple misdemeanors. Wilson had her three children inside the apartment, who were taken into the care of the Department of Human Services.
