OMC holds tree lighting ceremony

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Ozarks Medical Center hosted a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Monday, December 9 in the north entrance of the hospital.

Mike Parrott, Chaplain Coordinator, shared the Christmas story and led guests in prayer before Norval Merrick, one of OMC’s longest-serving volunteers, lit the tree.

“A Christmas tree stands as a beacon of light, symbolizing hope,” said President and CEO Tom Keller.

Attendees enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa with entertainment provided by Marty and Patti Elmore. Attendees were also able to personalize ornaments for the tree honoring loved ones who received care at OMC.
