Gainesville, MO. – A one-vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday has led to injuries for both the driver and one occupant.
This report was made by Corporal N.J. Britt from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
This accident took place on Highway 5 inside the city limits of Gainesville, MO. Denise Pippin, 55 of Ava, was the driver of a Dodge Ram travelling Northbound. Pippin then ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle then overturned and was totaled.
Pippin sustained moderate injuries. One passenger, Nicole Rosas, 29 of Springfield, was ejected and sustained serious injuries.
Neither Rosas or Pippin were wearing their safety device, and both were transported to Baxter Health in Mountain Home for treatment.
