Oregon County Sheriff’s Office Receives Donation of K9 Body Armor

Alton, MO. – The Oregon County Sheriff’s Office has received a donation of K9 body armor. This was made possible through a sponsorship by a 501c3 non-profit, the Captain David Dorn Foundation.

This body armor was donated by Vested Interest in K9’s, Inc., another 501c3 that accepts donations from other entities and uses it to equip officers K9 units with body armor that protects from both bullets and stabbing injuries. Each suit is custom fitted for the K9 unit they’re assigned to.
