Gainesville, MO. – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department released information yesterday making statements on at least 7 arrests that were made on outstanding warrants and compliance checks for sex offenders within the area.
On April 17, 2023, Deputy Lane conducted a warrant arrest for Michelle Richards on State Highway FF for her active felony warrant for domestic assault. She was located, arrested, and booked into jail.

On April 21, 2023, deputies conducted a warrant arrest for Jody Weyrauch on State Highway 5 for his active felony warrant for failing to obey the judge’s order while out on supervised release. He was located, arrested, and booked into jail.

Also on the 21st, Lieutenant Rhoades conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 160 in Gainesville. The driver of the vehicle, Chaz Brock, had an active felony warrant for driving on a suspended license 3rd offense. He was arrested and booked into jail.

On April 29th, Deputy Fountain and Lieutenant Rhoades conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on State Highway 5 in Gainesville. The passenger of the vehicle had an active felony warrant out of Bates County, Missouri for property damage. She was arrested and booked into jail.

Sex offenders Richard Stover, Albert Struckle, and Scott Hannaford were all arrested over the weekend for being out of compliance with their requirements for being sex offenders, which includes registering their permanent addresses.
Eddie Pogue of Gainesville is reported as being out of compliance with his requirements but was not located by law enforcement. The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office would like those with information on Pogue to contact them at (417) 679-4633.
