Gainesville, MO. – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office issued statements yesterday on two arrests performed this month, one being a repeat-offender DWI, and the other being a sex offender.
The DWI offender was arrested on July 7th. Deputy Fountain and Reserve Deputy Fortner conducted a traffic stop on Adam Watson, who was found to be under the influence. DWI is a misdemeanor in Missouri unless an individual has shown to be a habitual offender. Watson is facing a Felony charge of DWI and was found to be driving while on a suspended license.
The second arrest was on Brian Cuthbertson, a registered sex offender from Taney County. However, Cuthbertson was found to be living in Ozark County without registering his change of address. While being placed under arrest, Cuthbertson resisted and is facing charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Resisting arrest.
