Ozark Marketing Donates $10,000 to the Ozarks Small Business Incubator

WEST PLAINS, MO – Ozark Marketing Company recently made a $10,000 donation to the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI); while taking advantage of 50% Missouri tax credits.  OzSBI was awarded $152,652, in 50% tax credits by the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Any individual or business with  Missouri tax liability is eligible to receive the 2022 tax credits by making a donation to OzSBI.

This program allows donors to redirect their tax dollars to OzSBI and make an investment in the growth of our region’s economy through local entrepreneurs. Tom Marhefka, owner of Ozark Marketing Company, said, “Making a donation to OzSBI is a continuation of support for new business development in our seven county area. OzSBI has helped develop over 500 businesses in our market since 2012. We believe they are critical in helping small business start ups to survive and grow.”

Tax credits drastically reduce the out-of-pocket cost associated with making a donation.  Funds raised through tax credits enable OzSBI to grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the seven counties we serve through business workshops, mentoring and access to the OzSBI Microloan Fund.
