Beginning Aug. 17, virtual walk-in services will be available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The expanded hours offer added convenience for busy families managing school, work and extracurricular activities.

Virtual Walk-In Care provides convenient access to an Ozarks Healthcare provider for many common, non-emergency illnesses and health concerns without requiring patients to leave home. Patients can connect with a provider using a smartphone, tablet or computer through the Ozarks Healthcare Patient Portal.

Virtual care can be used for conditions including cold and flu symptoms, allergies, rashes, minor injuries, sore throat, pink eye and other common concerns. Providers can also assist with follow-up care, prescriptions and referrals when appropriate. If an in-person examination is needed, the virtual care provider will help direct the patient to the appropriate next step.

To use Ozarks Healthcare Virtual Walk-In Care, patients must have an active Patient Portal account, a device with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
