OzSBI encourages supporting your community on Giving Tuesday

West Plains, MO –  On Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2022, people from around the world came together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give back. The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) encourages the community to take part in this international day of generosity by donating to their favorite charity, nonprofit organization, or cause. “This global generosity movement unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities. All it takes is an investment of one’s resources in a local nonprofit working to help people in poverty, children in foster care, the arts, animals and even entrepreneurs, ” said Heather Fisher, OzSBI’s CEO.

OzSBI is able to use contributions from the community to expand its business development programs, train new mentors, hold workshops and trainings in its seven county service area, host manufacturing round tables, and expand its microloan program outreach. This year OzSBI has received  $76,326 in tax credits. This program helps small business incubators leverage local donations to use for non-operating expenditures that support new business creation throughout Missouri. For more information about donating to OzSBI, please contact Heather Fisher at 417-256-9724 or heatherfisher@ozsbi.com. Celebrate this global day of giving with OzSBI by giving back to nonprofit organizations making a difference in your community.
