West Plains, MO. – A Pomona man was killed when he was hit by a train on Monday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the BNSF Railroad tracks north of County Road 5320, five miles south of Willow Springs.
The locomotive struck Edward Morris, age 31 of Pomona, at roughly 10:45 p.m. Morris had been lying on the railroad tracks when he was struck.

This marks the 15th fatality for MSHP Troop G in 2022 compared to 17 at this time in 2021.
