HOUSTON, Ark. — The Texas County Sheriff’s Office says a Raymondville man faces charges after a domestic assault earlier this week.
38-year-old Lonnie Royal was charged with 2nd degree assault and stealing a motor vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Golden Trail Road in the Raymondville area on December 17 and learned that a vehicle had been stolen from the residence. The vehicle traveling west on Highway B and stopped, with Royal the driver of the vehicle.
Deputies were later told by a family member that Royal struck him with a flashlight and stole his vehicle.
Royal was transported to the Texas County Jail and held at report time on $150,000 bond.
