A Raymondville man suffered minor injuries Wednesday evening in a two‑vehicle crash on U.S. 63, about a mile north of Houston.
The Highway Patrol says a southbound Chevrolet Avalanche was stopped in the left lane to make a turn when it was hit from behind by a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant driven by a 20‑year‑old man from Norwood.

The Avalanche’s driver, age 66, was transported by ambulance for treatment, no injuries were reported for the driver of the Mitsubishi.
