With the current work that the BNSF Railroad is doing for safety reasons we will be leaving the 1886 Frisco Train Depot Museum closed through Tuesday April 15th, with goals to reopen Wednesday the 16th. As to the Spring Lake hiking trail- unfortunately the section from the Depot Museum along the tracks to the Hydro Electric plant will remain closed while the railroad installs a permanent retaining wall.

With that said fishing/swimming access to the point area will also remained closed until the completion of that wall and excavation repairs to the shoreline have been safely executed. Estimated timeframe is approximately one month, but we will keep the public in the loop as to the progress! We regret any inconvenience this poses, but please know that we are committed to getting everything open in the safest and most efficient manner possible.”
