West Plains, MO. – Impact Dance Company’s competition team recently competed at the Believe Dance Regional event in Branson where both groups received a Golden Ticket to compete at the World Dance Championship in Secaucus, New Jersey in July 2025.
Dance “Pretty Bird” competed in the Junior Small Group Age 10 Jazz category with Myer North, Ellie Smith, Mae-Ann Legler & Pyper Williams. The performance won Platinum adjudication, category 1st, 1st place in the 9-11 age category and was named the regional champion small group.
“Save You a Seat” competed in the Teen Small Group Age 14 Contemporary category Nellie McDonald, Savannah McDonald, Indie Barry, Makenzie Kinder and Bella Barton. The performance won Platinum Plus adjudication, 3rd place in the 15-19 small group category, the choreography award and a judge’s award for story telling through dance.
The Impact Dance Company team will be hosting fundraisers to help with expenses with this opportunity. On April 26th the team is hosting a Cajun Jambalaya plate meal at Impact Dance Complex and on June 7th will be hosting a bingo night at the West Plains Civic Center.
