WEST PLAINS, Mo. — A ribbon cutting for the new West Plains Christmas Tree will be held at 5 pm Monday, December 2 on the Howell County Courthouse Lawn.

The 20-foot tree, complete with LED lights, was installed by city utility crews on Tuesday, November 26 and was funded by the city in partnership with the West Plains Downtown Revitalization organization.

That event will run from 5:30-7:30 pm and will feature music, vendors, crafts, a visit from Santa, and the chance to win prizes from a “snowball” drop by the city’s electric department.
