Mountain View, MO. – This Saturday, Mountain View will be aglow with Christmas events, live music, an event honoring veterans, and a lot more.
Christmas in Mountain View will take place throughout most of the day, from 7 a.m. onward. This will include the Mountain View city parade at 6 p.m. as well as the tree lighting ceremony at 7:30, which is the last event of the day.
The Ozark Spring Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will also be holding their Wreaths Across America event to honor Howell County veterans at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1019 East 3rd Street. The public is invited to attend as individuals place remembrance wreaths upon the graves of fallen American heroes.
Live music will be available in downtown from 2:45 p.m. until the time of the parade, and there will also be a vendor event taking place most of the day, 7 to 5 at the community center.
