Lanton, MO. – A Howell County crash has ended with serious injuries, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
This report comes from Troop G’s Trooper A.K. Falterman. The crash took place on Highway 17 at Highway 142 in Lanton. A Subaru Outback, driven by Hernando, MS resident Candice Westcot, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Chevy Silverado, driven by Austin Richardson, 25 of Columbia, MO. Both vehicles were totaled.

Westcot was inflicted with serious injuries, and was taken to Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home for treatment. Richardson sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. Both were wearing their safety devices.
