Seymour, MO. – In just a few short days, one of the liveliest celebrations in Seymour will return and is expecting to entertain upwards of 30,000 people from the surrounding area.
It’s the Seymour Apple Festival, just off of US 60. The Apple Festival is sponsored by the Seymour Merchants Association, and is scheduled for September 7th through the 9th.
Those attending should expect to see local craft and food vendors, live entertainment, a parade, a 5k run, and even the yearly Johnny Appleseed contest. Admission to the festival is free, and it will be held outdoors in the town square of Seymour off of Market and Main Streets.
Organizers have asked that those attending not bring their pets, save for service animals or those participating in the pet show. For more information on the festival, call Grady Bennett at 417 872 8547.
