The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control, conducted a death investigation on Saturday.
A male subject was confirmed dead, and next of kin has been notified. Following the investigation, a juvenile suspect was taken into custody by juvenile authorities. Officials emphasized that there was no threat to the public during the incident.
Law enforcement agencies have not released additional details at this time, as the investigation remains ongoing. The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation for the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol DDCC and the juvenile office in their efforts. This case marks the ninth death investigation handled by the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office in 2025.
