Branson, MO. – The pioneer era theme park located within Branson has achieved further fame as they have been named in USA TODAY as having the best theme park holiday event for the 6th year in a row.
Silver Dollar City collected the most votes in this category from among 20 nominees, the list of which included titans such as Disney, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Legoland. Nominees are chosen through a panel of experts which includes editors for the magazine, and experts on theme parks across the nation.
The Old-Time Christmas Festival in Branson features over 6.5 million lights, two Broadway-style Christmas Shows, and a light parade with various costumed characters. In addition, an 8 story Christmas tree takes center stage on the park square.
This Old-Time Christmas Festival will continue to run through December 30th, giving families inside the area and out more chances to see this holiday event.
