Snow Expected Through the Day, Western Broadcast Radius Impacted Most

Across the listening area, the snow that was being called for today is proving to be somewhat erratic in nature, with many locations expected to receive less than an inch and other areas expected to receive 3 to 5 inches of snow.

According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, this is due to a line of winter weather creeping through the area. Those in our broadcast range who reside in western areas of Missouri and Arkansas will be seeing more of the overall snowfall, with counties such as Taney, Christian, Wright, Douglas, and Ozark counties receiving more than the rest. Those who reside east of Howell County are expected to receive little snow and mostly rainfall.
