A St. Charles woman was seriously injured Friday evening in a side‑by‑side crash on private property in Reynolds County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the incident happened around 7 p.m. on County Road 442.
Troopers say the Kawasaki side‑by‑side rolled backward on a hill after coming to a stop, then overturned. The driver, a 64‑year‑old woman who was not wearing a safety device, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Mercy South in Springfield. A 65‑year‑old passenger from Manchester suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene.
