Thayer, MO. – One Thayer man is facing a 2nd degree drug trafficking charge after local police enacted a search warrant on their property.
This event took place on February 13th. The Thayer PD state that this began with officers making contact with Ashton Raney, 35 of Thayer outside of his house, who then attempted to flee inside the residence.

Raney was taken into custody shortly after, and a search of the house revealed a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. Raney is being held on a bond of $150,000.
