Steven Clark has been named the new Mayor Pro Tem for Thayer, during their regular council meeting Tuesday night. The resignation of past Mayor Pro Tem, Kenneth McKenzie, was accepted at the November council meeting. Also appointed during the meeting, new fire chief and emergency management director, Matt Martin.
