MOUNTAIN HOME, ARKANSAS- – The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas will host their monthly adoption event at Petco in Mountain Home, Arkansas on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM.
“Petco Love is committed to creating a world where every shelter pet finds a loving family, and no pet is unnecessarily euthanized,” said Petco Love President, Chelsea Staley. “When you adopt a pet, you know you are saving that pet’s life, but you may not realize just how much that adopted pet can change your life for the better.”
“Humane Society of North Central Arkansas is committed to finding loving homes for the pets in our care. Come out and find your new best friend,” said Carolyn Carter, Shelter Manager. “When you adopt a new best friend, they come current on vaccinations, treated for parasites, spayed/neutered, and receive blood work for various diseases. Adopting a shelter pet saves two lives, the one you are adopting and the next one waiting to come to the shelter.”
Petco Love has helped find loving homes for more than 7.1 million pets and counting, in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations, such as Humane Society of North Central Arkansas. To date, Petco Love has invested nearly $441 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts.
