She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Van Horn, and son-in-law, Shawn Van Horn, of Birch Tree; her granddaughters, Kayley Whitworth of Branson, and Kenya, Saraya, and Amaeya Van Horn of Birch Tree; her grandson, Blaik Martin of Winona; her two great-granddaughters, Lilah and Estalla; her mother, Patsy Martin; and her siblings, Sheila Martin and Ricky Martin, both of Winona. She also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will miss her dearly.

Tammy had a deep love for camping and the outdoors, especially when her children were young. Some of her happiest memories were made at her favorite camping spot, Rymer’s Swim Hole, where she spent as much time as she could with her family. As the years passed and she was no longer able to visit there, she found joy in crafting and spending time with friends.

She faithfully attended Rejoice in Recovery alongside her cousin and dear friend, Teresa Miley, where she found encouragement, fellowship, and another family among its members.

Tammy never knew a stranger. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and had a warm, welcoming heart that made people feel at ease. Her kindness, laughter, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A family-led memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rejoice in Recovery of Birch Tree in Tammy’s memory.
