WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The annual Toys For Tots toy collection effort is underway in the region.
Ben Grace is the Toys For Tots coordinator for the Missouri listening area. He told Ozark Radio News that Toys For Tots collection boxes will be available across the region starting this week:
He added that there will also be several events coming up to benefit the effort:
Toys can also be brought to the Ozark Radio News headquarters at Ozarks Marketing at 983 US Highway 160 E. in West Plains. Toys will be picked up December 9.
The annual Toys For Tots Christmas Concert is also taking place at the West Plains Civic Center Friday and Saturday, December 6-7 at 6:30 pm nightly. Admission is at least one new, unwrapped toy per person.
The toys collected will be given to children in need in Howell, Oregon, Shannon, Texas, Wright, Douglas and Ozark Counties.
