Two from Mountain View Injured in Friday Afternoon Crash

Mountain View, MO. –  One adult and one juvenile from Mountain View have been injured following a crash that occurred on Friday, October 14th.

Kimberly Selby, 40 from Mountain View was driving a 2000 Nissan Exterra Eastbound on County Road 3080, when they crashed roughly one mile West of Mountain View.

The crash occurred as Selby failed to maneuver a turn, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.

Selby was not wearing her safety device and was seriously injured in the crash, and a 7-year-old passenger was wearing her safety device and suffered minor injury.

The juvenile was seen by medical personnel on the scene, and Selby was transported via air ambulance to Mercy in Springfield for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Trooper K.W. Etherton of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
