Two Local Students Win In Congressional Art Competion In Missouri

Missouri – On May 2, 2024, U.S. Representative Jason Smith held a reception in Perryville, Mo., to recognize high school students from Missouri who made it to the final round of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition.

At the reception, Natasha Slavik, Dora senior, was rewarded for getting top three with her artwork, ‘Eye of a Tiger’. (Her piece was featured in the previous article.)

The winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition was Miah Bressie, Houston High School Senior, for her artwork “Mystique”. As winner of the competition, Bressie was given two plane tickets to Washington D.C. to view her work on display in the U.S. Capitol Building.
