Mountain View, MO. – A man and a woman have been inflicted with serious injuries following a crash yesterday near Mountain View.
This report comes to us courtesy of Trooper L.J. Combs of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G. Trooper Combs states in his report the time and location of the crash were 12:55pm on Route W, just 2 miles South of Mountain View.
Wayne Sechrest, a 26-year-old Mountain View resident, was driving a Saturn Aura Northbound, when he lost control of the vehicle. This caused him to travel off the left side of the roadway, ending in an overturn.
Sechrest and one passenger, Lynsey Moberly, a 25-year-old Raymondville resident, were not wearing their safety devices and suffered serious injuries. Both were transported via air ambulance to Springfield, with Moberly going to Mercy, and Sechrest being taken to Cox South.
