A Peace Valley man suffered minor injuries Thursday evening in a two‑vehicle crash east of West Plains. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 160 and Missouri 17, about five miles east of town.
Troopers report a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, driven eastbound by a 29‑year‑old man, was making a left turn when it pulled into the path of a westbound 2023 Dodge Durango, also driven by a 29‑year‑old man. The Durango struck the Silverado, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. Each was towed from the scene.

The Silverado’s driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare. The Durango’s driver was not reported injured.
