Two West Plains Drivers Injured in One-Vehicle Crash

West Plains, MO. – Troop G of the Highway Patrol have reported that two from West Plains, a 70-year-old and a 59-year-old, have both been injured following an overturn crash yesterday at noon.

Jerry Carter was the driver of a 2003 Ford F150 truck, and was driving on Highway CC. Roughly 5 miles West of West Plains, Carter lost control of his vehicle as it began to slide. It then traveled off the right side of the roadway, crossed into a private road, struck a utility pole and a fence, and then finally overturned.

Jerry was inflicted with moderate injuries, but a passenger, Neena Carter, sustained serious injuries. Both were transported via ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. Both were wearing their safety devices.

This accident was investigated by Trooper Pruiett of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
