WILLOW SPRINGS – Contractor crews continue work to improve U.S. Route 160 in Howell County. The project includes replacing culverts and adding a southbound turn lane at the Route BB intersection in West Plains, Missouri. Motorists should anticipate a lane reduction with a 10-foot width restriction.
Contractor crews are currently placing temporary traffic signals located near County Road 2570 and County Road 2730 that will be used to guide traffic through the work zone. Motorists should use extreme caution in the area.
Weather permitting, completion is anticipated Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024. Construction will be underway from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
