Versailles Man Injured in Shannon County Crash

West Plains, MO. – A Versailles man was injured in a Saturday morning crash near Eminence. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred on Missouri 106, four miles west of Eminence at 4 a.m. on November 5th.

A 2006 Ford F150 driven by Lester Hood, age 27 of Versailles, had ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Hood had not been wearing a seatbelt and suffered moderate injuries in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

Hood was arrested by the West Plains Police Department for Stealing – Motor Vehicle and held on $25,000 bond.
