West Plains, MO. – In West Plains, Missouri, the major construction project of adding an overpass for the train tracks on 160 is set to begin, and a few updates have been addressed.
First of all, a groundbreaking ceremony has been planned for this coming Thursday at 2pm, with various entities around the project gathering to recognize the importance of the project.
Secondly, the City will be giving out weekly updates on the construction process, keeping communication open with the general public while the area is closed off. This will be coming about through their social media page, and every Tuesday morning with Harlin Hutchinson on 102.5 KKDY.
Lastly, the official start of construction has been delayed for one week, due to contractor crews being behind on a previous project.
