West Plains, MO. – Fall is here in the Ozarks, and this change means the art scene will be booming with inspiration from the beauty that Autumn brings. Terry Hampton with the West Plains Arts Alliance brings us the last Arts Update for the month of September.
Points of focus this time include the Harlin Museum, and an art exhibit at the West Plains Civic Center.
The Harlin Museum has a set of paintings from it’s permanent collection available on display, and the 47th Annual Art Show will be starting soon. This will begin Oct 14th, and to enter, you’ll need to do so on Oct 7th and 8th.
At the Civic Center, a Photography Exhibit featuring Bob Cunningham is on display at the Mezzanine through Oct 29th, and they are also taking entries for their Holiday Themed Art Show through the West Plains Council on the Arts.
